Pathetic. How did this @$$hole ever get appointed Secretary of the Navy? And he only lasted 8 months

Ok, first off let me say that I think James Webb is the scum of the earth. But, that being said, fair is fair. My husband was stationed at the Pentagon (Academy graduate, Naval officer of 20+ years service at the time) when Webb came on board as SecNav. According to hubby, Webb was not fired. He resigned, supposedly because the Reagan White House didn't "fight" for what Webb thought was a large enough Navy (as in 600 ships).
