I do think Foley's actions were worse; he probably would have molested some of these young men. Having said that, Webb's writings are sick. And the fruit of the sick mind is seen in his novels. Nope. Gay rights, remember? 16 is the legal age of consent in Florida. It's perfectly legal for a queer to mount a 16 year old boy.
When the IM's were written, there were no Internet predator laws, either.
