To: period end of story
I think he was just expressing the angst that we all feel of what looks like a neverending presence in Iraq, and maybe elsewhere.

It'll end when the job is done. As long as there are terrorists to kill there, we need to do it. The Iraqis are already helping us greatly in that pursuit and it's only a matter of time until they are able to do it full time. Until then we need to support them.

No doubt. I have no problem with the mission. I have private concerns that the Iraqi's may not be able to handle themselves, w/o support, for a long time. And then politics enters the picture....

You mean, you don't want to re-deploy the troops to the border like Der Wienerschnitzel wants to?
