that's it. that's hardly a "choice made by the elected representatives of the people".

Add on to that the fact that New Jersey ALREADY has a domestic partnership law passed by the state legislature and signed by the governor, which still wasn't good enough for the New Jersey Supreme Court Black Robed Legislators.
