Massachusetts has become the number one state to which gay foreignors travel on tourist visas. I've heard they meet an American gay, marry him or her and become a legal permanent resident of the state

I don't see how. Legal residency in the U.S. is a matter of Federal law, not State law, and Federal law does not recognize the validity of same-sex unions.

U.S. immiration does not recognize gay marriage so foregners cannot immigrate here that way.

If so, they've wasted their money, because the federal government doesn't recognize Massachusetts gay marriages AND most tourists coming to America don't need to get visas.

permanent residency is a federal thing. gay marriage is not recognized federally so their "marriage" is meaningless. There are articles in te globe complaining about this regularly.

That's not exactly possible. Legal residency is a federal question, not a state question. The feds don't recognize gay "marriage".
