Singer requires K-9 sweep of arenas before U.S. tour dates OCTOBER 24--As she travels the U.S. on tour, Barbra Streisand is so security conscious that she requires a police K-9 team to sweep arenas before she performs, according to the singer's concert rider. Streisand's security requirements--which include metal detectors at all doors--are detailed in a September 12 rider, an excerpt of which you'll find below. The "thorough inspection" by the K-9 team, which is required before the 64-year-old star's pre-show sound check, is presumably geared toward discovering explosive devices. The 16-city Streisand tour, which kicked off earlier this month in Philadelphia, features a top ticket price of $750 and a duet with a bumbling George W. Bush imitator.

I meet people all the time who absolutely worship her (I drive a taxi in NYC), and when I ask them why, they almost always 100% say "because she has such a beautiful voice"...And when I point out so do about a million other women, for example someone like Olivia Newton John who in my opinion could sing Striesand right under the table.
They then turn to Barbaras "acting", and when I ask them to mention one movie besides "The way we were" were she was "such a ground breaking actress" they find themselves tongue tied..."Errr...ummm... Funny girl, Hello Dolly...ummm" and we get to a point where I show them that there is no reason at all why this b*tch should be given so much attention.
A lot of times they get ticked off at me, but it`s the Gods honest truth and they can`t face it. This woman is not worth one billionth of the amount of attention she gets, yet the press constantly promotes her as this "legend" and it is ALL BULLS**T!
The only reason she is constantly promoted like this, is because of her extreme liberal views! Nothing more nothing less. She is an over-rated over-promoted b*tch who`s only talent seems to be conning people into paying huge sums of money to see her and busting the chops of the working class who are around her.
Carol King appears on "Gilmore Girls" once in awhile as a music shop owner. Trust me, you don't want to know what King looks like or acts like today. In fairness, it could be some of the writers making her act that way on that leftist, moonbat show.
She's just afraid that someone will steal her teleprompter.
I saw her in action recently; she is dumber than a box of rocks.

Barbra is good at singing one note after another. Thought is a little tricky for her, though.
