What gets me is that, if you read the article, this guy was chosen to replace someone else whose statements had been considered too extreme. From his picture, standing in a library, he looks like an educated, inoffensive, gentle little man. He gave bland sermons, as expected, for several months, and then he came out with his statement approving suicide bombing as "of course" part of legitimate resistance. In other words, this is what someone hand-picked for his moderation says. He is moderate, but anywhere else he would be an extremist.
Moderate Muslim = out of ammo.
