Character is putting your country over your personal agenda.
But you knew that.
And my country deserves better than your Republican bumper-sticker aphorisms.
My "personal agenda," as you call it, happens to be very similar to the Republican Party platform...less government, less taxes, more personal responsibility and rule of law. Now how is it that I'm being selfish by expecting Republicans to pursue the very things they say they stand for?
Isn't that simple ethics?
