To: Conservative Goddess; eyespysomething

I'm as fed up with faux conservatism in the Republican Party as anyone, but as it was in 2002 and 2004 it is today: the WOT trumps everything. I won't send a protest vote with the Ls, I won't stay home, and I certain won't vote for "change."

Put the Democrats in congress and the senate and we're done in Iraq. And that sends the same message to our enemies as they received after the 1993 WTC bombing; the USS Cole et. al.

While the Republicans have done nothing significant to stop the growth of the size and scope of the federal government, we're still fighting a war.

If we give up now we will have lost.

"While the Republicans have done nothing significant"

I've heard this lie before, but I guess if you repeat it long enough it must be true....NOT!

Put the Democrats in congress and the senate and we're done in Iraq.

Which is even one more reason to question the current Republican candidates who have deserted the conservative cause.

Today on Fox Joe Biden, of all people, confided that at least three Republican Senators promised him that they will come out AFTER the election to condemn the war in Iraq. Add them to the Hagels and Chaffees and Snowes and Lugars and Warners and McCains and it looks like the same people who backstabbed America on illegal immigration will now do it on the war.
