I once heard about a study where it was noted two boys playing in one of those non-violent, no toy weapons type day care enviornments picked up a couple of Barbie dolls...and immediately began using them as swords to fight with.

I once heard about a study where it was noted two boys playing in one of those non-violent, no toy weapons type day care environments picked up a couple of Barbie dolls...and immediately began using them as swords to fight with.

My wife used to be the director of a daycare. One of the board members banned "violent" toys. The buys used everything from sticks to Barbie dolls as guns and swords. Made my bride laugh a lot.
