I remember more than one time fighting to get a patient an earlier appointment for a special procedure/test because of the incredible stress involved in waiting to know if the news is bad.

The problem is probably that they are booked solid and everybody else ahead of kattracks in line is most likely worrying, too.

I'm not even family and have a lot to distract me right now, and I am having trouble dealing with this. The Holy Spirit is really needed now and will certainly be there helping to hold this family together.

I remember last October when the Mammovan came to our office and I signed up. A couple of weeks later they called and said they found a shadow and that I needed to come in for followup, but they did not have an opening until DECEMBER. Fortunately it turned out to be a false alarm, but it was a very stressful holiday season. A friend told me later that I should have called every day asking if there had been a cancellation and they would have found time for me somehow.

Needless to say, when the Mammovan came THIS year I skipped it. I'll go in the offseason next time.
