I came across a verse I had written on a 3X5 card awhile back, and the Holy Spirit immediately brought you to mind:

For in everything, O Lord,
You have exalted and glorified Your people,
And You have not neglected to help them

At all times and in all places.

It's rather startling how He answers prayers, from the truly serious to the common everyday and silly needs. It's like the goose that laid the golden egg. I try hard not to get too greedy about what I ask for so as not to wear out my welcome.
