Just when you thought there was some glimmer of hope that Newton North had finally re-emerged into the world of academic normalcy with a change in leadership, along comes a manifesto illustrating that the school has once again chosen to become the PC standard bearer in secondary education.
Under the title of "On-Campus Enrichment Programs," the school announced its "partial calendar of events" for the upcoming year. The list reads like it was authored (maybe it was) by commissars from the Rainbow Coalition, the Socialist Workers Party, National Organization for Women, Black Panthers Alumni Association and the kind of radical gay activists that would cause the Gay Republican Log Cabin Club to blush.
Even Deval Patrick would shy away from this one.

It's reasonable to speculate that there are probably more gay staff at North than there are gay students, with a handful of that staff pushing this agenda on the entire school population.
At Newton North there are no less than five days devoted to all things gay.
To Be GLAD Day (Transgender, Bisexual, Gay Lesbian Awareness Day). This is an ongoing North tradition where the school brings in such eminent lecturers as a coach who boasted to the students that he fell in love with his sister's husband (Jerry Springer calling?), and then there's the former male North student who decided to become a woman, and of course, those enlightening never before revealed tidbits such as... "famous homosexuals/bisexuals" (Eleanor Roosevelt), and those "famous gender benders" Joan of Arc and - I kid you not - Bugs Bunny.

Kids who go to Newton North tend to come from working class backgrounds.It's Newton South that serves the Unitarian/Universalist and "Reform" Jewish parts of the city.That's where you'd expect to see the worst of this PC garbage.
Why is anyone surprised? Isn't this the state that has a murderer and a traitor as their US senators?
The murderer left his girlfriend drown in a car after he stood on her shoulders to get out of the sinking car and left her with a tiny airpocket while he sought legal advice, arranged a tennis match, and then called for help.
And the other scumbag went around to funerals looking for distraught mothers whose sons died in Iraq who'd campaign for him. And didn't that filthy traitor help pay for her lodging and food so Cindy Sheehan could travel around and trash our soldiers and president?
And don't those two moral thugs keep getting elected and re-elected? Any such state with such a track record would certainly push homosexual agendas down the throats of the children while their idiot parents look the other way.

Wasn't it also in Mass. where a parent was JAILED because he objected to not being informed when his 6 YR OLD's class was being taught about the finer points of the homosexual family?
