Maybe the always angry might want to consider that we have had no Conservative Senate Leader since the 1920s. With Frist resigning and Hastert damaged goods, the Conservatives have a golden opportunity to raise a Harriet Meirs style firestorm after the election to get some REAL Conservative Congressional Leadership in BOTH Houses.
But that right, that is being pragmatic and practical instead of mindlessly dogmatic. The "Real Conservatives" would rather cling to their angry political irrelevance

What the hell do any of your posts have to do with this opinion piece and this Bill's passage?

How are pushing unConstitional Medicare drug give aways, failure to seal the border, starting more unConstitutional government agencies, and general using a "borrow and spend" approach to avoid raising taxes considered "good things" on your list?
Drink DEEP of the Cool-aid. When you wake up and realize that even the GOP needs it's feet held to the fire once in a while, maybe it won't be too late to change things.
