I see that memorial in my daily commute. I kept waiting for them to finish it and then they dedicated it! I'm glad it reminds the author of the airforce, cause it dosen't remind me - at least someone will enjoy it.
I just passed by it again today...I think it looks out of place...the shiny metal curved saber like spires arcing up out of thr ground against a backdrop of old WWII vintage
government buildings...sort of like a Lamborghini parked in a K-Mart parking lot.
