Can she be stopped, especially considering the current implosion of President Bush and the Republican Party?

If Hillary can't unite the Republicans then nothing can. I will even consider registering as a Dem to vote against her in the primary. She is just too dangerous to risk getting into the general election.

Hillary won't happen, the liberals don't even like her. Demonrats put up with her BS, but I bet more than a few would secretly vote Republican.

Rasmussen has had her negative numbers fluctuating from 40-45%.

Rasmussen also has a poll (and it isn't the first) where it shows that more people have already decided to vote against her, rather than for her.

40% have already decided to vote against her in 2008.

Not good, in fact, very bad for her. Only 31% say that they will definitely vote for her.

She doesn't have much wiggle room.

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/2005/hillary%20Meter.htm

Poll after poll (Rasmussen, Zogby, etc, etc) over the last 2 years show John McCain beating her by 8 to 15% in the general election.

She is abhored by republicans. Do you have any idea how many dems she and her pervert husband have screwed or killed over the years that are dems? Ya gotta know there are loads of dems that would just to see these two fail, die and go to hell like they deserve also.

I hope she runs too, and for 2 cents I'd register D just to vote for her in the primaries. She would be a sure loser. Even the moonbats don't like her, and they are a force in the primaries. The moderates, meanwhile, know she isn't one of theirs.
Plus she has more baggage than Marley's ghost.

"considering the current implosion of president bush and the republican party..."

sounds like the result of effective propaganda campaign by media.

Actually, you want to vote against her in the primaries...bury her early...don't let her come up for air!

It is fascinating how divided freepers are on the subject of Hillary Clinton. Some are convinced she can't win, some as convinced she can't lose.
I say she can't win because:
she's a liberal
she's a hag
she's a bore
she's the 90's
she's a crook...

Now, that covers voters who are conservative, young, intelligent, hip, and honest. You know it's more than 50% of the voters. Why then do you fear her?

Actually I don't fear her...but your thoughts on registering as a Democrat so one can vote in the primaries is actually an interesting scenario I've been advocating for republicans in Democratically controlled state.

The scenario goes like this....Massachusetts for example i very liberal and Democratically controled with the same big shots getting elected every time. Should a very sizable number of Republicans change parties (but not political philosophies) they could vote in the primaries for more moderate Democrats and in some cases put the barney franks and kennedy types out of power. Reformers or Zell Miller type Dem's would be more encouraged to push for reforms in the Democratic parties being able to count on the support of all the new "democrats" who had just joined the party. The Liberal wings of the Party would become much more isolated and vulnerable to marginalization...it could also encourage the Rino's to leave the Republican party at large as Rino's would do our country a beter servivce as Democrats then the Liberal Dem's do now as Dem's...(okay so that last thought is controversial).
