Exactly. We do the same here and so far its working fine. I am disgusted by the slogans on tshirts for little girls. Sometimes I find myself wondering who is dreaming up these things and why. I won't allow my daughter to be pushed into being older then she is. I don't allow her to go to birthday parties at the malls where they dress them up and put makeup on. When I see the mothers with the little girls hair streaked to match their own and the nails done I just can't understand why on earth they have to make their daughters at 5 and 6 into little mini mes.

Because the parents don't know how to say NO!

Very near our home is a family that dotes on their child to extremes! Gets everything he wants! To the point of driving the parents into financial hardships. I often wonder what adulthood will be like for this one, rarely is anyone home, except to sleep. They must be out on some adventure, always!

I realize there are other causes for the "little mes" and part of that is the sexier they are the sooner, the better sexy they'll be when they're older.
