Squirmy Harry or Harry Greed?
It just makes my day that he will have to fork over about 50% in taxes ;D!
The Washington Post had an eye-brow raising story today about how he lives at the Ritz-Carlton, that man of the people. What a guy!
This will never make the liberal news. If you want to learn about this cheat you better learn about it from non-old media/drive by sources.
Sorry, but the MSM has already decided for the public that they have no interest in this story.
Here's the nasty part about your klas TV link. The guy who broke GSting was George Knap of KLAS. Knapp also worked for Don Williams, former campaign manager for Harry Reid. Knapp also worked for Kent Oram, former campaign manager to Lance Malone. It seems likely Knapp tipped Williams and/or Oram off a year before GSting hit the wires, giving Reid time to run for cover. Knapp essentially compromised the FBI and police (the police are even worse).
Also, Jon Ralston knows about more than he is telling. Trouble is, he sells his "Ralston Report" to the same insideers who are under investigation.
Wonder if campaign donations are paying the rent at the Ritz Carlton too.
ah, here it is...

Reid to Reimburse Campaign for Donations

WASHINGTON -- Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid paid cash for a $750,000 condo at the Ritz-Carlton where he lives. But when it comes to giving the doorman and other support staff Christmas bonuses, he's been using campaign donations instead of his own money.
Federal election law bars candidates from converting political donations for personal use.

Questioned about the campaign expenditures by The Associated Press, Reid's office said Monday his lawyers had approved them but he nonetheless was personally reimbursing his campaign for the $3,300 he had directed to the staff holiday fund at his residence.
Reid also announced he was amending his ethics reports to Congress to more fully account for a Las Vegas land deal _ highlighted in an AP story last week _ that allowed him to collect $1.1 million in 2004 for property he hadn't personally owned in three years.
In that matter, the senator hadn't disclosed to Congress that he first sold land to a friend's limited liability company back in 2001 and took an ownership stake in the company. He collected the seven-figure payout when the company sold the land again in 2004 to others.
Reid portrayed the 2004 sale as a personal sale of land, not mentioning the company's ownership or its role in the sale."

Wasn't George Knapp involved in those weird Area 51 "exposes"?
...a Las Vegas land deal that allowed him to collect $1.1 million for property he hadn't personally owned for three years.
Why are no 'Pubbies demanding his resignation? Could it be that they have their own shenanigans going on?
"Wasn't George Knapp involved in those weird Area 51 "exposes"?"
One and the same, he even subbed for Art Bell (or maybe George Noory) recently. The guy who originally supported some of Knapps ufology was none other than Don Williams, who was involved with KNapp and Brian Gresh's trip to Russia to explore ufos. I kid you not.
Williams was Reid's campaign manager in the 1974 loss to Laxalt. Don Williams was hired to do pro-Yucca Mountain stuff in 1990 because of his links to Reid, and that's when Williams hired Knapp to work on Yucca Mountain stuff, which somehow drifted into ufology.
"Why are no 'Pubbies demanding his resignation? "
They must not be reading these threads, cause there's enough stuff on Reid to blow him out of the water.
Harry Reid's son is Chairman of the Clark County Board of Commissioners. Was he one of the commissioners that approved the original re-zone of the property to facilitate the shopping center?
Maybe he should set up residence in a P.O. Box liek Robert KKK byrd. Think of the problems that he avoids that way.
"Harry Reid's son is Chairman of the Clark County Board of Commissioners. Was he one of the commissioners that approved the original re-zone of the property to facilitate the shopping center?"
No, but the situation is in some ways worse. Harry pretty obviously moved Rory in to Dario Herrera's commission seat when Herrera ran for congress. Of course, Herrera would take bribes from anyone, and is headed for jail for doing just that in the GSting scandal. So, wither Harry bribed Herrera and another jailbird commissioner Erin Kenny, OR the quid pro quo was for the two to get better political positions (Kenny ran for lt. gov.).
Why no one has brought this out in the national media is beyond me. I know the AP is hot on this trail though.
Just watched the videos. Reid ducks the questions every time..and he looks in acute distress on the facial close-ups..Behavior indicates there is more to come out on this..
"ehavior indicates there is more to come out on this.."
This land deal is being worked by AP. The LA Times is working the Coyote Springs land deal. And they haven't gotten to why Reid owns 200 acres of parched desert land in Searchlight (50 acres co-owned with Jay Brown) which is worthless for housing development without water rights (a similar area in Arizona is being held up by the same issue). Plus there are Reid's ties to developer Jim Rhodes (who had to pay a fine for illegal bundled contributions to Herrera and Reid), who has been represented by Jay Brown, who had jailed commissioner Kenny on his payroll.
Oh yeah, there might be more to come.
