> Four Russian posters, several quite new to FR, went to great lengths to dispute the many websites I posted from here, all of which seemed to present a cohesive picture to me.
Yeah, and you ignored them, since "do not trust Russians" is old mantra for americans.
Yet believing to something posted on internet site is not good. You cannot verify the source, and you can not be sure wherever sites are not mocked up to make you believe :)
> That picture is that Putin is following a geopolitical strategy very much in line with what Dugin presents.
This strategy is not very different from american one. Only words and hemispheres differ.
> Whether a few of you here have heard about this is fairly meaningless in the long run to me.
There are many funny things you can learn from patients who live in madhouse. Will you believe them depends on you.
> Whether you like the way I post or not is even more meaningless to me.
You just shown that my above statement about taking you seriously is very true.
What made me curious is you ignorance of opponents, denial to argue by your own and not by citations from untrusted sources, and, ultimately, readiness to believe to something because you /want/ to believe.
It is different, in what we are "selling". We are selling freedom and democracy, self-reliance. Your country is selling restrictions and authoritarian control.
