I disagree, Israel should tell the frogs that if they turn on their radar, they'll get a Hellfire in 30 seconds, then DO it.

France, you are supposed to represent civilization, not the cavemen. I know you 'modern' Frenchie guys don't really do the God thing, but here are a few of my favorites from Scripture:

The F15's first air victory's were against Syrian Mig 21s in 1979, downing five, the first of many. Fortunately Syria's allies, Egypt, Saudi Arabia have them now, so the Arabs won't be at the same disadvantage next time.
They may be that, but they do have some high quality SAMs. However, its not clear if they have been deployed or not.
Its a safe assumption that the IAF is staying above the AAA & MANPADS. If the French have anything better with them, the IAF will know and probably have it plotted. If it comes up in a targeting mode (vice acquisition), the IAF could easily kill it prior to launch with the high probability of loss of life on the ground.
Hellfires are not normally used again SAM radars for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is the low probablity of survival of the launch platform.
The Knesset better take this threat seriously. The french are very experienced at sending Jews to their death.
Well, half of them anyway. The other half are experienced in negotiating a surrender.
