On Maui the main road to the west side (Lahaina, Kaanapali) is closed. Trouble is, the only other way of access has stuff
like this on it and it's barely one lane wide in places !

They had a pile of photos there from folks and their areas and homes and such.. lots of stuff was flying all over.

You have to figure that reopening the Honoapi'ilani highway has to be the number one priority on Maui, now that the power is back on. That other road (the Kahekili Highway) isn't really built to handle even moderate traffic under normal conditions.
