actually, one can come up with an objective truth from readibg the research of various scientists findings on both sides of the debate. To say that I have to spend time with the actual casts and bones is a bit silly. It would be nice if you could drop what you want to believe and just look at both side objectively. The truth is pretty obvious.
One can also come up with good information from doing some of the actual research first hand. Books and websites are nice, but hands-on research is extremely valuable.
