My son nearly flipped out that I had allowed the cable guy to type on his keyboard. Wanted me to tell him exactly what he typed.

For FReepers that use Mozilla's Firefox as their web browser, I invite you to perform the following commands, then get readdy to fill yer drawers...

Click on Tools and select "Options".

Click on the Privacy Icon, then select the Passwords tab.

You will see a rectangular box labeled "View Saved Passwords".

You will then see a list of all your accounts listing the web links and userids.

(This is the "Fill yer drawers" part). Now you will see a button labeled "Show Passwords". A new column is added that does just that.

Now you can fix this through this interface by utilizing the "Master Password" feature. The problem is this is not implemented by default and you likely do not eaven know of the issue. This is especially important if you take your computer to a repair shop or have anyone else sharing access to your machine. Likely, you even have sensitive information to things like bank acounts. PLease check and by the way, this problem may not be limited to Firefox - ie other browers may have similar "features".
