He's got a D next to his name, and his name is familiar. He'll get tons of votes.
There is no economy in his district because the state is so corrupt and anti-business that his pork barrel projects are about the only thing going. Johnstown voters are afraid of what happens if Murtha is not re-elected. The prospect of Murtha in a leadership position in a Democrat congress promises even more largess.
Until PA has a complete revolution in econimic thinking, Murtha is what we will get.

Well, I certainly picked up on that! Thugs verbally assaulting folks trying to check into the local hotels when they found out they were Irey supporters.
Locals were afraid to go to the Boot Murtha rally Oct. 1 as there "eyes" watching to see who went in and out of the arena.
One of the locals was telling me that when Murtha blabs about how many jobs he has brought to the district, no one asks how many jobs he has LOST in the district. He said that in 32 YEARS of Murtha, the district has a net gain of 3000 jobs. Those jobs are no where near the "good" jobs that were lost.
