North American Air Defense Command has scrambled AS A PRECAUTION folks. Any major incident into a populated area has to be treated as suspicious until proven otherwise...if you were going to hit something, wouldn't you after the UN building right across the river?

The UN is about a mile and a half due south of the struck building, not across the East River.
