For what its worth, my opinion - Accident.

My second prediction: every sad case nut job will be shouting 'Dirty Bomb' or 'Chemicle attack' for the next few hours and trying to spread panic.

The authorities have an obligation to calm this kind of speculation quickly and severely. From what I am following on Fox in the UK it looks like they are doing a good job.

For what its worth---my opinion---a not very hard to prove terrorism dimension to this. I would be VERY surprised if it were an accident.

MSNBC is reporting that the FAA in Washington says it believes it may have been a FIXED WING aircraft operating under visual flight rules

Clearly contradicts the reports of a helicopter..who knows??

I'm just sittin here monitorin this thread and the DU..with the theories being spit out (DU - October Surprise??) and here, I prefer to bide my time and see whether it is an accident, intentional, terror or whatever..

I refuse to jump to conclusions...
