"Is the government of Algeria insufficiently Islamic for the Islamists?"
Algeria has a very huge Islamist problem.
Not as huge a problem as it was. However the remnants of it's domestic terrorist group (can't remember it's "name" - goes by initials) has officially aligned itself with Al Queda recently.
