Nope. Not if that was the law. It's not, though. Crossing the border illegally doesn't have anything like that penalty. I think we should change the law to make illegal border crossing a felony.

Still, if we did that, we'd be feeding and housing all those illegals, rather than sending them back across the border.

What I am in favor of is enforcing our laws...no more...no less.

So if US laws were changed to make illegal border crossing a FELONY, punishable by 10 years of uncompensated hard-labor, under conditions that assured the state would more than recoup the costs of incarceration, then you WOULD approve of that, right?
