I read the article that Evan Thomas wrote about this Foley thing....and he had a fact that I hadn't heard...
That the Fordham guy that used to work for Foley, but left him...and is very gay....and is one of the "sources" against Foley...was having lunch with Foley on THAT Friday, just as Foley got the phone call..that basically ended his career.

I can't stand it when she starts gushing about how she likes so and so--how nice they are to her. BARF!!! If they could ruin her and get her off the air all those "nice people" would do it in a heartbeat.

Disappointed in Laura.... Thomas is a nasally-voiced know-nothing posing as a know-it-all.
Laura can be a total pain. She's nice to some of the liberal media types, but a real hateful biddy to some conservatives who don't agree with her on a particular issue.
I listen to her occasionally because I, too, get ticked off at Mark Davis. It's that voice and that superior tone...he could be liberal. I know he's not, but he has the manner.
Once I heard that I clicked her off.

Evan Thomas is interesting. He can be very even-handed in his writing, but you cannot count on him to be. I really liked his biography of John Paul Jones. It was definitely worth a read.
