No, it's not confirmed. The USGS said that even a succesful might not register if it was small enough, so unfortunately, we don't know for sure. It's interesting that one article quotes a South Korean official as saying that that they did register a roughly 3.5 tremor after the announcement.

USGS will not post a nuke event on their page...only quakes. They have pulled non quakes before.

Foxnews is now saying that China warned the US, South Korea and Japan 20 minutes before the test that it is going to happen.
