but I can't help but sing "It's a Family Affair" by Sly and the Family Stone....LOL--all afternoon I've been singing "Papa Was A Rollin' Stone", not that it applies to GHWB. I guess "poppy" stuck in my head and became "papa" :)

Barbara at the bottom of #24!I really like that one too. It could be a painting.

May God watch over all those who sail this ship, all those who fly from her deck, and all those at home who pray for their safe return. God certainly answered somebody's prayers when the life of the young naval aviator, GHW Bush, was spared in World War 2; God saw the end from the beginning and knew that out of that young pilot's life, and love for Barbara Pierce (Bush), He would bring forth another generation of great leaders in the Bush line to shield, shepherd, and soldier this nation into His continuing victories for America.

Wow. That's a big boat........... :)
The cartoon isn't about the GHWB, but it makes a good point :)

You're very welcome, Onyx :) Good material to work with today.

GLORIOUS event and very moving speech .. tears. Thank you, jonny .. you've got your work cut out for ya today. You're doing a SSSSSSSSSSSSuper job!
I was concerned at the look on W's face ... he looked troubled to me walking in, and very contemplative during the ceremony before he spoke. Prayers for him and US.
Ohio, I had terrible problems at first, and still (after 20+ times) can't see the end segment where he says the sweetest words and introduces his Dad .. driving me nutz .. just emailed the site.
What I finally did was to click on the lower left for "Windows Media High" and it kicked in, strangely. It didn't SAY to click it .. I just did. Try it.
GOOD LUCK & HAPPY MOVING, WOLFIE!

A welcome respite from the sleeze all around us lately. Sure is. And I'm glad X42 wasn't around to hog the ceremony.
