I never understood why they were so quick to call for Denny's head!
Seems like that would be a pretty bad move to have the Speaker resign just before an election. Anyone calling for such a thing must want to see the GOP lose the House.
Oh, that part was obvious. They wanted to decapitate the GOP house leadership so they could push for Speaker-of-the-House Pelosi even harder since their campaign trail clarion after that would be that the "vacuum of leadership that needs to be filled"...by them. (gag..retch...puke)
