FR is for adults? I apologize...I didn't see that in any of the policies of the site. If I missed it, please point me in the right direction where I can find it. The only thing I did find was the help page, which referred to FR as a "family" site.
I can see that a number of people disagree with me. That's alright. It might be a concept foreign to you, but I don't expect everyone to agree with me. I've had several members express their support for me -publically and privately- and some go even farther than I do.
I don't know how long you've been on FR, and truthfully it doesn't matter to me, but I wasn't aware that one's posts must be "good" enough in order to remain a member for however long its been. Who decides whether a poster's posts are "good" enough? Evidently, whoever it is has decided that my posts have been "good" enough to allow me to stay for even such a short ammount of time, and I'm fairly sure that I'll still be here tomorrow too.
You've gotten a tad agitated, so I guess that at least some of the things I've said have struck a nerve. I am a little curious as to why you're trying so hard to exile me. It seems to me that I have every right to post here that you do, and I have made no attempt to try to get you to shut up. I'm all for reasonable discussion of the topic at hand, but it seems that your posts to me have gone from discussing the topic to denigrating my reading and logic skills.
Just keep on posting, and don't let FreeRepublic's resident cranks get to you. Welcome to this site.
I've been on FR from almost its beginning. If my posts weren't up to snuff, I wouldn't have lasted this long. People here demand a certain level of performance; can't keep up? You will be continually called on your posts. And FYI...don't plan on being here all that long.
I don't expect EVERYONE to agree with 100% of the time, but, when they don't, they'd better have facts to back them up. All you've had are your "feelings"; kid.
By "family friendly", FR means that unlike many other sites, posters here are forbidden to use profanity, vulgarity, and obscenities.
