I am amazed that so many people on this board want to protect this guy and his actions because the people involved were consenting adults.

I've seen very little of that.

Most of the posts I see say, "Good riddance to Foley," but then focus on the more vile conduct of the Democrats and MSM in manipulating the facts to deceitfully pitch this as a predatory Republican pedophile myth instead of what it is: a greasy story about a booze-soaked middle aged gay man enticed to send shameful and embarrassing IMs to a sniggering college frat boy getting his jollies.

Why don't you see it that way?
