CLAIM: FILTHY FOLEY ONLINE MESSAGES WERE PAGE PRANK GONE AWRY
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**

According to two people close to former congressional page Jordan Edmund, the now famous lurid AOL Instant Message exchanges that led to the resignation of Mark Foley were part of an online prank that by mistake got into the hands of enemy political operatives, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.

According to one Oklahoma source who knows the former page very well, Edmund, a conservative Republican, goaded an unwitting Foley to type embarrassing comments that were then shared with a small group of young Hill politicos. The prank went awry when the saved IM sessions got into the hands of political operatives favorable to Democrats.

The primary source, an ally of Edmund, adamantly proclaims that the former page is not a homosexual. The prank scenario was confirmed by a second associate of Edmund. Both are fearful that their political careers will be affected if they are publicly brought into the matter.

The prank scenario only applies to the Edmund IM sessions and does not necessarily apply to any other exchanges between the former congressman and others.

The news come on the heels that Edmund has hired former Timothy McVeigh attorney, Stephen Jones.

Good for you.

Your opinion is well shared out there.

The Clintonoids, the MSM (ABC), and the Dems share your opinion Hastert should resign. After all, it would help them takeover the House.

Too damn bad WE DON'T share the same opinion that a Dem House is a good thing!

A quote from his home page.........

"EDMO!'s Blurbs
About me:
Politics is my passion; I love the game. Hi, I'm Jordan. I grew up all over the place but I call San Diego home. I've lived in Hawaii, Michigan, Canada and California. I was a 3rd year Political Science major and Public Policy minor at the University of California, Berkeley; but, for now I am taking time off to pursue my career. For the next year I will be in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma working as Deputy Campaign Manager for Ernest Istook on is campaign for Governor. Hopefully after that I will return to Cal to finish my last year and a half (actually its probably a little more than that). Yeah, I'm a huge ass-hole and probably one of the most insensative people that you will meet "

I don't put much emphasis on the prank part of this. There was nothing illegal done in any case. It does not matter if it was a prank as far as Foley's involvement, but it does matter as far as why this happened in 2003, and is just now released.

Foley is a dead duck either way, but the coverup BS is now very suspect and the table may well turn on the Rats.

"I still think this "prank gone awry" explanation is not at all the entire story."

Prank gone awry sounds innocuous. It's better than saying something the Dems had a "Gaygate" operation that has now been exposed.

Where are all those jumping off the Republican party? Earlier in the day, we had freepers or trolls who were all over this site saying Hasert need to resign.

Conservatives, you are either with us or against us

"I want to get the "DC CYA" crowd OUT OF DC!"

OK. Here's our plan:

After we fire 'em, I'll hogtie and hold 'em, then you stune 'em with your beeber so they can't write books or go lecture at universities!

The moonbats on the other hand, known to eat their own vis-a-vis Lieberman, will not let the Dems off the hook for gay bashing I doubt.

I was wondering about this; will the gay activists just now sit back and take whatever the Dems' excuse is for this not coming to fruition?

What about all the blogs we saw with the guys actively working to out gays in and out of the government.

I wonder how that will sit with "regular" gays.

How did those IMs get to the Dems?

How did that web site get them?

Who knew and used the info for political opportunism?

"I'm guessing that the Clinton's decided that young Jordan needed a "minder". And I' guessing Mia T is right in her post: 'KILL BILL' (THE CLINTON-FOLEY NEXUS: A THEORY) , suggesting that the Clinton's are running this dirty op, to put a clamp on their hemorrhaging over the Bill's 9/11 and Bin Laden failures.

Especially after Fox Sunday's interview of the CIA head (Sheore?) saying Clinton and Clarke are liars.

Why did Foley resign? Because look at the screaming *from within the ranks* over the past few days - the howling about "pedophilia," "child abuse," "child molestation," "make the GOP gay-free," etc.

Foley might have been able to survive had his party closed ranks around him as the Democrats did around Barney Frank, Studds, Bill Clinton, etc. But there was no way the Republicans were going to do that. I'm not saying it was good or bad; just an observation.

I would say the Republicans were very effectively mau-maued here, and not only by the Democrats.

So why did he resign, instead of denying it?

Regardless of whether it was a "prank" or not, he is "outed" and did send the IMs! Whether drunk or sober, he was just screwed and he knew it!

I think Foley may have been the one getting played.

Totally agree, he didn't know what was going down, that explains why he resigned.

But there was never any danger to the kids. (/talking point)

Actually I was thinking that this was payback for what Newt and the GOP did to Jim Wright when he was the Dim leader of the house.

the Pajamahadeen will always bust any fake or inaccurate story from now on.

Any MSM media network that attempts to will have to be able pass the scrutiny of several hundred thousand people pouring over any report looking for errors and researching mistakes.

ABC probably had a number of editors and attorneys review the story before it was released, but too many people are watching, one slip and the MSM is nailed to the wall faster than you can say "Pajamahadeen"

They have the impossible task of making no error(lying dog) reports
