Looks like they threw the baby out with the bathwater a little too quickly this time. Makes me wonder if their whole 'independent conservative' thing is just a schtick. Folks hate being played for suckers.
Skeeter, I have a whole list of pundits who shoot from the hip due to being spooked by the media. They are cowards and don't spend the time to ascertain the facts. I have removed them from my list of people I listen to.
