But hey, we seem to have a better man as a replacement. Negron is already looking as the front runner in his district's race. Silver lining...

John Boener (sp?) wa on the radio just yesterday all but conceding this seat.

2/3rds of the votes in that district went to Foley, the Republican during the last election there.

As long as the voters are made aware that a) Foley is no longer running and b) Negron is, I don't see why Negron would lose.

I understand that there may be some evangelicals who might not vote (as retarded as that is!) but it shouldn't make that much of a difference.

"John Boener (sp?) was on the radio just yesterday all but conceding this seat."

This infuriated me. As the majority leader, he's supposed to LEAD his party to victory. Mark Levin excoriated Boehner tonight and called upon him to "grow a pair...and grow up". Amen.

I just tried sending an e-mail to Boehner, but it was refused because I don't live in his district. I can't express how frustrated I get when sending e-mails to members of Congress only to have them refused. I do understand that representatives and senators have an obligation to their constituents first. However, the laws that are passed by the members of Congress affect my life and I believe I should have the opportunity to voice my opinion to each and every member.

There. I said it and I'm glad!
