In one of the e-mails "Mark Foley" said he was in "Pensecola." Mark Foley was a product of U.S. education in the 50's and 60's, before the invention of either "creative spelling" or "Spellcheck."

Does anyone here believe a Florida politician in his 50's, running for Senator, would spell "Pensacola" "Pensecola?"

I tend to believe the e-mails were truly written by him (creepy but not criminal), but the IMs were not and he was too ashamed to mount an "I'm a creep but not a pervert" defense.
