I don't get it.

What have you achieved by revealing this young man's identity?

O'Reilly just reported while interviewing Brian Ross that this was driven by a Soros funded far left group (I missed the name of the group) in Washington. He said Fox and the WSJ now believes that to be the case.

This is bigger than the Dan Rather forgeries.

I would say ABC is toast. Hopefully the trail leads right back to the Democrat Party.

I searched for him on Facebook, and found an interesting thing...the Istook for Governor campaign club came up.

However, it appears his profile is deleted....there is not any trace of him.

Nothing on him on xanga

Well, well, well, what do we have here? Mr. Brian Ross, my opinion of you as a hack has tremendously increased... something I had the feeling would happen. You have purposely deceived the American people and are still doing so while your party is rejoicing at every twisted manipulation you present as facts.

First, the emails regarding the first page, where this whole ordeal started, were innocuous and contained no sexual content at all. Those are the ones Speaker Hastert knew about. Foley didn't ask for sex nor had a sexual conversation with the page. However, you added some salacious IM's to your report that every member of the media was willing to portray as the “emails” sent to the first page, whose parents had no interest in doing anything beyond just stopping such communication.

The sexually explicit IM's belong to a willing EX-PAGE who was 18 years old at the time the IM's occurred. He was no longer working as a page since he finished the House Page Program in June 2002 and his 18 birthday was in February 23, 2003. The IM's happened in 2003 after he left the program and when he was already 18 years old... shall we say private IM's between 2 consenting adults? I'm sure you can't.

Funny, I was thinking last night, OK, let's assume those IM's are real... you know what? They read like IM's from a male escort, or from a willing partner. They don't sound like stuff from a child. Then I thought, 'why would a kid keep those IM's for so long (3 years)?' And that's why I was thinking about a male escort intending to save them for future blackmail. Why would a guy would want to keep cybersex IM logs with a older man he isn't interest in, unless he wants to use them someday?

The media isn't talking about the original emails because there's nothing there, but rather about the IM's, portraying them as Foley preying on a child. Keep in mind, and I'm not defending him or his actions (because of his stupid and irresponsible actions we might lose the House and the Senate and the consequences could be devastating not only for the Republican Party but for the nation as well.) So no, I'm not happy, I'm mad at Foley, but let's keep things into perspective, having cybersex with an 18 years old after he LEFT work as a Congressional page isn't the picture of a predator going after a child, is it?

And yes, the Republicans are still the Party of values and morals. As soon as any of its members of the House or the Senate are caught in a scandal they resign. Adios, Hasta la vista, baby! However, when the Democrats are caught in a scandal, like Gerry Studds who had a homosexual affair with a SEVENTEEN years old male page, Studds didn't resign. On the contrary, he kept getting reelected over and over again with the full support of the Democrat Party and enough support from his constituency. Bill Clinton didn't resign over the Monica Lewinsky scandal, and his Party supported him. And Berny Frank, Ted Kennedy, Mel Reynolds, to mentioned a few are still in power.

And by the way, just by watching the nightly news, I get the impression that the emphasis isn't on Foley as much as it is on the Republican leadership in Congress. The emphasis in on Hastert to resign. This whole thing reeks of politically motivated hacks determined to take control of the House and the Senate, and you are doing your part to help!

Oh yes, the link.

This is a very interesting development. The leftists at ABC will probably try to insinuate now that there were other pages besides this guy, but he seems to be linked to the worst of the IM messages & is probably the same person for several of them.

For example consider the following similarities:

- According to the PassionateAmerica blog post there's a my-space profile of Edmund that lists his interests as ballroom dancing. The redacted name in the first IM that ABC released (http://abcnews.go.com/images/WNT/02-02-03b.pdf) told Foley several times that he had been taking waltz lessons.

- Another ABC IM had a message where Foley was talking about meeting up with the redacted name in San Diego. The my-space screen cap on the blog says his hometown is San Diego.

It's a guess, but this suggests that all of ABC's IM's are from the same source, and it's this Edmund figure. ABC and the MSM have been intentionally vague about exactly how many different interns the messages come from. They all seem to show signs that it was this guy.

If that's the case the implication is significant, since he was 18 at the time - no longer the underage minor that ABC has been claiming. The messages are downright disgusting and Foley is still a freak, but that changes the nature of the scandal big time.

Sorry, I haven't read all the posts yet, but why is the LSM still running with this non-scandal? ABC news website is acting like it's Watergate. What gives?
