Well, then we need someone who has military expertise... or someone who will nuke Mecca...
I ain't voting for the Madison Avenue designer label...
If Giuliani is so content to have Mrs. Clinton remain as his senator, why should any Republican trust that incompetence on the national stage?
My Constitutional rights do not end at the New York city limits... I am the NRA and I vote... I ain't votin' for no Madison Avenue designer label neither...
They are seriously delusional...
Giuliani hasn't lifted a finger to help any Republican defeat Mrs. Clinton. They both are a two card Monty for the limousine liberal Madison Avenue crowd...
Yes. You don't want to know who I voted for, at least in the '92 primary. I regret it myself, though it didn't affect anything. I'm no longer much of a fan of the guy I voted for in the '96 primary, either. GWB was the first guy I voted for in both the primary and the general.
Just to be clear, '92 was Pat and '96 was Keyes.
Both are liberal New York lawyers with fancy Madison Avenue designer labels...
I want a man of strength and character in the Whitehouse. Donald Rumsfeld would be my ideal...
At least the third time was the charm. :-)
The thing is, this far out, in '98, nobody was talking about George W. Bush. Think about that, mull it over, then cogitate some more, upon that statement.
Just because names get thrown around, doesn't mean that that's who is going to be in any primary. And it also doesn't rule out someone "new" entering the fray; someone nobody is even thinking about right now.
I love Rummy to. Unfortunately, there won't be enough that can look past his age to consider him. I pray he is allowed to continue to the end of President Bush's term.
God Bless Rummy!!!!
How old was Winston Churchill when he was elected?
I wasn't even a shot in the dark when he died...
I got this off another thread...
WINSTON CHURCHILL ON ISLAM - IN 1899!"How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries!
Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity.
The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities - but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome."
-Sir Winston Churchill (The River War, first edition, Vol. II, pages 248-50 (London: Longmans, Green & Co., 1899).
In-f'in-deed!
If the choice is between these two, it'll have to be him while I hold my nose. Amen.
That just leaves Rudy, - the press loves him because of his image they gave him, but they will turn on him and when they do, sayonara.
Lets interject a reality.
McCain has a strong position in politics and within the GOP leadership, and he will wipe out Rudy on the national stage.
Rudy may be offerrred the VP slot and I believe that is what he will angle for.
For the record, ms clinton is not a NYer. She is a carpetbagger.
Rumsfeld has qualities that would preclude any need for a presidential press secretary... he rubs their faces in their own smelly piles...
