Ditto! A lesson my mother taught me when I was very young, (in the days when girls kept a little diary with a little key) that I thought was eminently reasonable, and have followed ever since.

OMGosh, reminds me what my mother called me about today. "Honey, I was cleaning out some things and found this, this, and this journal you kept in junior high. On one page you mention "boys name"." OMGosh! I had a panic attack right there on the phone. Mom!!! Gee, better state that I am a woman at this point. Still not sure what else is in the journal right now.

Oh....dear, I can't imagine what I wrote in my diary anymore...but I can imagine I would be quite embarrassed if I read it now...let alone my mother reading it!!
