It just seems to me that we are on a witch hunt and if we find the great and powerful democrat who controls everything that happens in Washington (personally I don't believe he exists) then we will be able to say "ah-ha...see vast left wing conspiracy...we knew it all along."

Even if we find out that Hiliary herself hand delivered the IM's to ABC... it does not change the fact that Foley should have never written them.

And dont' forget...when the Lewinsky scandal broke, the media smelled blood in the water and went after Clinton too... (however brief it might have been)

The issue most of us are addressing is this:

Dems are calling for GOP Leaderships' heads over this, based on false claims that they knew about the explicit IMs. It is looking very much like it was DEMS who sat on the explicit IMs, NOT THE GOP.

As another FReeper said on a thread last night, it's about the GOP Leadership being set up, not about Foley being set up.

Foley being a piece of dung is not what the vast majority of us are discussing.
