"But wouldn't you agree that Miss M's reaction "brought tears to her eyes" show you that she likes you Brits and maybe cares about what you think about us Americans?"
You hit the nail on the head! Of course, that's why I teared up. No one dislikes being ridiculed in a country they love, admire and willingly gives thousands of tourist dollars to.
What really bothers me is that due to business concerns, I keep having to give my dollars to the London economy...
Willingly or have to? Seems to me you do it to earn a living, something known as 'the cost of doing business'.

It's a campaign for a new TV show, yet to be aired, highlighting the good and bad of American Television that has landed on our shores.
That's all.
I would have accepted that at face value...Oh, I thought I was being insulted,... it's just some ad guys idea? OK then.......but no, Miss Marmel, you have to keep feeling insulted even though no slight was meant. This need to feel insulted when none was meant, did that just start when you converted to Islam, or have you always been that way?
We can all see from this thread that you work in Theater.
And you said your Theater buddies don't like the US or Israel.
Perhaps your problem is that all the time you spend in England you are surrounded by liberal butt-wipes, who should just 'shut up and sing'.
That might be good advice for you as well.
