I'd be insulted, but I wouldn't threaten to burn down the British embassy nor behead the ambassador. I'd just boycott.
And yes, I would see it as inflaming the Muslim world and wouldn't call it oversensitivity. I wouldn't blame them.

If you feel that strongly about it, boycott the television company, given that Britain is the largest single foreign investor in the United States, it's highly likely they have investments on your side of the Atlantic. That wouldn't bother me in the slightest. I don't mind people punishing companies or individuals for being stupid. What I do mind is people drawing incorrect conclusions about an entire country based on this ad. I mind the fact that people don't believe the television company, in a free society, have the right to be dumb in public.
