I have always had the greatest respect for Britain and the Birtish people. Am I not allowed to express my opinion about the lack of courage of the British press in tip-toeing around the fact that a muslim is a muslim?

Yes...exactly that and other instances of colonization. Thank you for bringing that to our attention, GK. "Raj Empire" (done without the quotation marks here) is a good phrase of keywords for searches on the history, and the information might be good for everyone reading this thread. But people new to reading histories of empires, beware of propaganda pieces administered by nationalist subjects of former empires. Read the histories from colonials or from third parties.

Most Americans are unaware of important facts from our own history of warfare against empire (examples being promises to lords of large areas to rule, and that there was more than one war for independence).

I was reading the arguments from both sides and was wondering ......well when did Britain ever do "nation building" and that too for "hundreds of years"??!! And telling US to "get out of the way" sounded like a comment from someone who thinks his balls are bigger then his brains.
