I"m not too concerned with who or what you were responding to. You made an absolute statement that cops aren't trigger happy and I provided an example to prove that at least some are.

I haven't seen enough facts, but it sounds to me like they emptied a magazine apiece, from a short distance away, at a fixed target and missed a few times. 68 hits out of 100 isn't so bad considering the circumstances, what the guy had done and what he probably would do if he got the chance.
