Look I am not defending the perp. My only point is when do they stop fearing for their lives, when they run out of bullets. I would not be sold on the assumption they did not reload. After the cops statement it was clear they were going to shoot until they run out of bullets.

Unless a bunch had revolvers, or 1911 types, they didn't even all shoot the magainze dry. 12.5 rounds or so per shooter. For reference Glock 17 holds 17+1 of 9mm, Glock 2 holds 15+1 of .40 S&W. Some had AR type rifles, which hold 20 or 30 rounds of 5.56x41.
