Your posts are dead on. Every time some idiot tries to minimize the impact of this current issue by drawing comparisons with Barney Frank and others they engage in a moral relativism that is degrading to every conservative.

Your clear position on the matter is the only valid position for sincere conservatives. This is not the time to try and trivialize what is a fundamental ethical issue. Well done!

Alas NRA2BFree has more than one issue covered in his response. The problem is that in the Foley case a child is involved. No one is disputing or disagreeing with that.

At the same time NRA2BFree assures us that Barney Frank is NOT INVOLVED with a child.

That's a totally different issue, and none of us know that for a fact. We could surmise that maybe he's not involved with a child since no one has said anything about it ~ and certainly he's public enough person there are those who keep a close eye on him (the Congress seeming to have a high percentage of homosexuals who do, in fact, engage in cruising for sex with minors). All we can really say about Barney, unlike Mr. Frank, is that Barney hasn't been caught!

Thanks! I'm finished making excuses for Republicans. I'm a Conservative, and that used to be what the GOP stood for. We did NOT leave the Republican Party, it left us when they started straying from our values and morals. When I stand back and look at both parties, I'm having a difficult time telling them apart. Granted, the RATS 'look' more evil to us, but that's probably the way the GOP is looking to people now too.

We have got to start holding their feet to the fire when they do things that are unethical and/or immoral. It's time that they are held accountable for their actions! They are NOT above the law, and it's time that we drive that message home to them at the polls, or in a court of law!
