In other words, the Capitol Page program knew about this predator and continued to assign him young males as pages. What did they know and when did they know it? Heads should roll, ASAP.

You did an excellent job of articulating one of the real problems here. This has been allowed and excused and covered-up.

And this guy gets elected and re-elected 5-6 times and was cruising (pun intended) for re-election again. Yet, "everyone" in DC knows he's a pervert, but back in the district he's a good solid conservative? We should purge ourselves of the degenerates. Kolbe is retiring, this piece of crap is gone, I can think of one R from California who should be next.

Makes you wonder if there are any other Congressmen that the Capitol page program is "warning" people about.

Every other organization that deals with children has had to get religion on this issue. Our church sends everybody who comes into contact with children to training and has procedures in place to make sure children are never in alone with an single adult. If a complaint is made, or if there is so much as a rumor, there is a procedure in place to deal with it and safeguard the children. Safeguarding the children is the greatest priority.

Why does it not surprise me that Congress exempts themselves from such things?
