At this point, party doesn't even play into it, IMO. I can't believe that I'm seeing some posters trying to somehow defend this asshat.

He's a pervert. I don't care what party he's from. He's done. What worries me is that this scandal may cost the GOP some seats...not just in Florida, but, if others knew about Foley's little playmates, then that's going to come out, too.

The Dems are not going to be bashful about telling what they know at this point. This sucks. Foley sucks. Anyone who even half-heartedly tries to defend Foley sucks. And I'm not going to be bashful about saying so.

i'm wondering what the dems will be able to say about this. if they publically criticize him for his behavior, they will risk alienating some of their key supporters.
on social issues, repubs and dems have very different values.
he clearly violated repub standards of behavior, but it is not so clear that he did anything that dems could really criticize him for.
